Sound Design & Music
It was an honor to be working with the Greenpeace International on their campaign with focus on the tuna-industry in the world. The campaign was created by the agency Mr President in London and became a success with people signing petitions for which begged the leading companies within the tuna-industry to change directions and stop the fishing in certain areas. They got support and helped by cat influencers all over the world, and together they starred in the campaign video.
My job was to compose music and add sound effects specialised for the film. We all knew the film was going to go viral and reach many people, the music had to be accepted and recognisable by everyone. The music was inspired by Disney's Mermaid, and the overall atmosphere and feel had to be uplifting and positive, that we together can make a change. The cats adds a bit quirky and cute feel to it, so the music had to reflect that as well but at the same time not take over the whole feel and seriousness of the films message. One of the cat "Lil Bub's" even had a trademark sound, and had especially to be played only at certain points.
The campaign won silver for "The Best Cause Marketing Campaign" at the Lovie Awards 2017.
